The t-shirts, jerseys and posters that lined the walls of sporting goods stores throughout New York and symbolized the rise of Linsanity are long gone, reports the NY Times
Fans still have fond memories of Jeremy Lin and gave him a nice ovation on his return to Madison Square Garden last night. But even the most die hard fans admit they are torn.
“I am a bit conflicted,” said Peter Chow, who was wearing a Lin T-shirt. “I’ll root for him when he scores, but in the end I want the Knicks to win.”
As for Lin, “I’m in a very different place now,” Lin said. “I’ve moved on, they’ve moved on. We have good memories.”
