The night couldn’t have gone any better for Jeremy Lin. Autograph seekers trying to get his attention. A packed room of reporters greeting him. For a glimpse, it was Linsanity revisited, reported the Daily News.
Knicks fans welcomed Lin with a big ovation during introductions, then turned on him when he started to turn on the NY Knicks. At every turn, Lin was making a great pass for an assist and two points, or launching a shot into the bucket. The crowd started to boo Lin, but it only made him play harder. He scored 22 points and made 8 assists in a lopsided 109 -96 Houston Rocket win over the Knicks.
“I am still thankful for the fans,’’ he said. “It was a lot better than I thought.”
