Chu Moy’s life was full of tragedy. Often the tragedy was associated with sacrifices her family made for this country, the United States of America. Her story was featured in the Washington Post.
Moy immigrated to this country from China in the late 40’s. Her husband was a purple heart recipient. Her son died during the September 11th attack on the Pentagon. Her husband would ultimately die from a heart attack. She herself died from cancer.
