AsAmNews reported earlier this week about Vincent Wu, the man on trial in China for corruption & kidnapping. The US Embassy has tried to intervene on Wu’s behalf, but China has rejected all attempts by the Embassy to help Wu.
An article published earlier this summer in CNN i Report claims Wu has been tortured since being arrested this summer. The US Citizen & San Gabriel, California man has donated millions of yuan to the city of Huidong for new basketball courts, concrete roads, reconstructions of Buddhist temples, and reconstructions of elementary schools.
His family alleges Chinese authorities coerced a confession out of Wu.
