An article in the Huffington Post focuses on a dilemma facing many non-Christian families this time of year. How does one celebrate Christmas when you don’t believe in Jesus? Five devout Muslim American families each get into the Christmas holiday spirit in their own way. Some embrace community service, others send greeting cards to their Christian friends.
The article questions whether its possible for Muslim Americans to embrace Christmas this way and still remain true to their faith. Dr. Faheem Younus wrote:
“the question, “why to celebrate” remains. Why go out of the cozy comfort zone? Why not stay home and unplug?”
