A high level official at the Los Angeles Planning Commission has rejected an attempt by opponents of a WalMart in Los Angeles Chinatown. The official ruling upheld an earlier decision giving WalMart the ok to upgrade a commercial space at Cesar Chavez and Grand avenues, reported the LA Times.
WalMart is scheduled to open in March in a space much smaller than your typical WalMart.
