Michelle Kwan married the grandson of late Rhode Island Senator Claiborne Pell this past weekend. Twitchy
published some of the first pictures of Kwan shortly after her marriage to Clay Pell at the First Unitarian Church in Providence, Rhode Island.
Cameras caught Pell giving his new bride a quick smooch after exiting the church while a military honor guard looked on. Pell is a lietuenant in the US Coast Guard and was in full uniform.
Kwan wore an ivory Vera Wang dress during the ceremony.
About 240 family and friends attended the ceremony, including fellow Olympians Brian Boitano, Dorothy Hamill and Dick Button.
“You could feel the love Michelle and Clay have for each other,” a guest at the wedding said. “They are truly a perfect match.”
