Sacramento Bee: Lessons from Chinese American Father-In-Law

eye autumn leaveChinese New Year is a time for new beginnings for many, but for columnist Marcos Breton of the Sacramento Bee it was a time to reflect on the struggles of his Chinese American father-in-law. The racism Dad endured, the racial taunts he suffered, the political turmoil he escaped were not only experienced by Breton’s Dad, but countless immigrants as well.

It’s a wonderful read about the road many Chinese Americans had to travel to get where they are today. I highly recommend you spend a minute reading it.
