LA Times: Japanese Am Museum to Host Exhibition on Arab Americans

 

Arab American National MuseumAn exhibition on tour from the Arab American National Museum near Detroit, Michigan is being presented at the Japanese American National Museum in Little Tokyo.

“This is a way of bringing cultures together, people together, under one society in which we all live. We share so much in common, both Arab and Japanese communities, it’s a good pairing,” Janis Tanji Wong, the museum’s director of marketing and communications, told the LA Times,

The show “Patriots and Peacemakers: Arab Americans in Service to Our Country” features Arab Americans who  served in the U.S. Armed Forces, the Peace Corps and in diplomatic posts.

It will run through April 14th.
