San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee scored a favorable rating of 65 percent, certainly the envy of any politician, reports SF Gate.
The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce poll was conducted by David Binder Research with a margin of error of 4.4 percent.
Analysts say his consensus style politics that has lead to victories on such contentious issues as pensions, business taxes and housing is resonating with voters.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the percent of voters with a negative opinion of Lee is at 28 percent, up from 3 percent two years ago.
Meanwhile, Board President David Chiu may be well positioned for a run at the State Assembly. More on that in SF Gate.
