Just weeks after federal regulators shut down two low fare Chinatown bus companies, another bus line has announced new service from New York Chinatown to Boston.
The NY Business Journal reports that Yo! will offer service beginning Thursday. The company is a joint venture between Greyhound and Peter Pan. Yo! will run six round trips daily and their buses will include such amenities as a guaranteed seat, extra legroom with leather seating, free Wi-Fi and power outlets.
“YO!, which offers a safe and affordable option for travelers who like the convenience and affordability of Chinatown bus lines, is ready to meet the high demand for intercity bus service between Chinatown in New York and Boston.” said Greyhound President and Chief Executive Dave Leach.
In the last two weeks, the feds have order Fung Wah and Ming An closed for safety violations
