The most popular Asian American on You Tube, Ryan Higa, has been knocked down a notch or two. You Tube has stripped him of more than 100 million views on his popular Nigahiga channel, reports New Media Rockstar.
It seems the popular video website has changed the way it calculates video views by eliminating views on videos that have been made private or have been removed from You Tube.
Ryan tweeted the change to his fans and seemed to take it all in stride.
New Media Rockstar reports he lost more views than any other independent creator channel. But he definitely wasn’t the only one hit by the change. Lady Gaga alone lost 176 million views back in December. You can find out who else lost millions of views in New Media Rockstar.
