GOP chairman Reince Priebus said Sunday that Republicans will allocate $10 million this year on reaching out to Hispanic, Asian and African-American voters, reported USA Today.
“We have become a party that parachutes into communities four months before elections,” Priebus said on CBS’ Face the Nation.”The Obama campaign lived in these communities for years. The relationships were deep. They were authentic,” he said.
In the 2012 presidential election, a historic 71 percent of Latinos voted for Obama’s reelection, the highest Latino support for any presidential candidates in history, reports say. 73 percent of Asian-American voters also voted for Obama.
