A predominantly Asian American crowd packed Macy’s in San Francisco for a special appearance and performance by Far East Movement, reports 8 Asians,
It was the second stop of six city Macy’s tour which continues Sunday in Houston as part of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
The group just returned from performing in Norway. They looked back at their first performance ten years ago at a small cafe in Koreatown before a packed house of 15 people.
They talked about the multi-cultural influence of being from Los Angeles and the impact the Beastie Boys play in their sound.
