Charice’s mother, Raquel Pempengco, is prepared to let her daughter do things her way in her own time, according to AceShowBiz.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Pempengco says when her daughter decides to “confirm her real identity.” she’ll support her the way only a mother can.
“What my heart and mind is telling me as a mother is to allow her to reveal her real gender preference. Whatever path she wants to take, because that is where she would find happiness,” said Pempengco.
“I will respect what she will reveal to the public because it is through that disclosure that she will find happiness and liberation.”
