PBS has announced that Hari Sreenivasan will anchor the new PBS NewsHour Weekend which will debut September 7, according to the Business Wire.
Sreenivsan currently appears nightly on the news hour anchoring the program’s news briefs. He also anchors hourly news updates on PBS’ website.
The PBS Newshour Weekend will be a half hour program featuring the same type of stories and interviews featured on the weekday newscast.
