Women EntrepreneursThe new State of Women-owned Businesses report from the American Express Open finds Asian American women founded more than three out of ten businesses owned by AAPI’s, according to the All China Women’s Federation.

In all the report finds that Asian American women own 620,300 businesses in  2013,  earning $ 105 billion in revenue. That’s approximately 18 percent of the revenue generated by Asian-owned businesses overall.

These women firms also employ 21 percent of the workers employed by Asian owned businesses.

The report from the American Express Open also found the rate of growth for women- owned businesses overall is increasing faster than the national average.
