President Obama has nominated Vince Girdhari Chhabria for US District Judge for the Northern District of California, reports the South Asia Mail,
Chhabria is currently Deputy City Attorney in the San Francisco City Attorney’s office.
Chhabria’s nomination was announced along with four others.
“These men and women have had distinguished legal careers and I am honored to ask them to continue their work as judges on the federal bench,” Obama said.
