Charice and fellow Filipino singer Aiza Seguerra are not only preparing for their upcoming concert together in Quezon City, Philippines. but they’re speaking out for a sick elephant in captivity in the Manila Zoo, reports ABS CBN.
The two appear together in an ad (pictured left) for PETA, or People for the Ethical Treament of Animals.
They are seen holding up an inmate like sign that reads “Charice wants Mali freed” and “Aiza Seguerra wants Mali freed.”
“I just can’t imagine how it feels for Mali to be alone and not getting [the] attention that Mali deserves,” Charice said/. “And not only that, she’s not getting some serious and important care that she actually really needs.”
