Jeremy Lin endured an undue amount of pressure during his first full season as a starting point guard in the NBA, according to a blog post by Michael Ogden in the Bleacher Report.
As AsAmNews reported yesterday, trying to live under the pressure of Linsanity took all the fun out of the game for Lin and he lost sight of what’s most important to him, his faith in God.
Just a few weeks before the season began last year, he went from the Rockets franchise player to, as Ogden put it, “an over-glorified afterthought” when the team acquired James Harden.
Ogden says coach Kevin McHale’s use of Lin as an spot up shooter was “counter-productive.”
Ogden breaks it all down in the Bleacher Report. Read it and see if you agree. How would you have used Lin if you were coach?
