Despite talk of more outreach to Latino and Asian American voters, the Republican National Committee has voted against supporting a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, reports the Voice of America,
The resolution also called for a border fence along the southwestern border.
President Obama won more than 70 percent of the Hispanic and Asian American vote in the last election.
But according to the Voice of America, the Tea Party and conservative wing of the GOP is dominating the party’s internal discussion.
