Doctor Sanjay Gupta recently excited the medical marijuana community when he acknowledged for the first time the medical benefits of marijuana.
One medical marijuana dispensary in Colorado became so excited it named a strain after the good doctor, “Sanjay Gupta Kush.”
But New York Magazine reports CNN isn’t too happy about that and has called the dispensary to demand that it drop the name.
“CNN phoned us and asked us to remove it. I think we’ll leave it alone for the weekend and see what happens.” the owner of Helping Hands Dispensary said.
For now, the strain is still on sale for $35 for an eighth and $12 for a gram.
