A crowd of 20,000 people sold out the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena recently for KCON, the largest KPOP convention in the United States, reports the Hollywood Reporter,
The racially diverse crowd more than doubled last year’s attendance, the first ever KPOP convention.
A concert which wrapped up the two day convention included Missy Elliott, the only non-Asian to perform. She concluded the concert for the debut of her single with Korean-superstar G-Dragon.
The two performed the debut of their duet, “Niliria.”
