San Francisco’s famed Sam Wo Restaurant will likely have to move if its ever to reopen, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.
The daughter of the owner wrote on the Save Sam Wo Facebook Page this weekend that the restaurant would not open in the same location.
The high cost of bringing the building up to code coupled with the big rent increased asked by the landlord make it impossible to reopen at its Washington Street location, wrote Julie Ho.
Ho says she is working with new investors to find a new location.
