Jeremy Lin ‘s role in life is seemingly to play the UNderdog.
That’s the perspective of Jenny Dial Creech and Jonathan Feigen in their blog for the Ultimate Rocket.
From being the UNrecruited all star out of Palo Alto High to being the UNdrafted guard out of Harvard, the UNderrated Lin must have “UN” in his middle name.
Many in the Rocket camp are calling for more playing time for Patrick Beverley this season. Creech and Feigen suspect Beverley will get more minutes at crunch time, continuing a pattern of Lin sitting at the end of the bench to end games.
They say Lin will need to continue his improvement from the 3 point line and develop a chemistry with new center Dwight Howard to maintain his minutes or increase his playing time.
Many predict that won’t happen. In fact, some analysts expect Lin to be traded from the Rockets by mid-season. Read the breakdown in the Ultimate Rocket and share your take.
