After ten seasons, it won’t be easy for Sandra Oh to say goodbye to Grey’s Anatomy.
She doesn’t know how its going to end, but she does know one thing.
She wants to leave alive.
According to Wet Paint, she hinted to TV Line, she’s already thinking about a Grey’s Anatomy reunion.
“Of course. I would very much like her to live,” Oh said. “You know, the show’s going to continue and go on and have its own life, and eventually it will have to come to a close. I’d love to come back!”
Executive producer Sondra Rhimes hasn’t revealed to Oh how she plans to write her out of the show. But Oh suspects it won’t be a fairy tale ending with ex-boyfriend Owen as played by Kevin McKidd.
“It depends on how you define happy ending–not so much happy ending in a pat way where we’ve been taught this is what a happy ending is, but a truthful one,” said Oh.
You can read about Oh’s future plans, more on her thoughts about her relationship with Owen, and why each day on the set of Grey’s Anatomy this last season will be special in Wet Paint. You can also watch the entire interview on TV Line.
