KoreAm: Toby Dawson to Enter Skiing Hall of Fame

Toby DawsonOlympic medalist Toby Dawson will be inducted into the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame for his contribution to mogul skiing.

KoreAm reported that the induction ceremony will take place in Park City, Utah on April 5 next year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Park City Mountain Resort.

The 34-year-old Korean American was adopted by a couple in Vail, Colo. and joined the U.S. Ski Team at 19. He won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Turin, Italy in 2006.

Dawson played a vital role in South Korea winning its bid to host the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. He is currently serving as the head coach of South Korea’s National Freestyle Ski Team.
