Jewelry stores in Chinatowns across New York City have been robbed six times since September.
The Lo-Down recently reported that at least six robberies have taken place at stores in Chinatowns in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn.
One incident in early September resulted in the theft of $25,000 worth of gold chains from a store in Manhattan’s Chinatown.
Police are searching for suspects of the robberies. Based on reports, the robberies have consisted of two individuals. One member of the team will brandish a gun while the other collects merchandise.
