RafuShimpo: Performances to highlight impact of Executive Order 9066 on Japanese Americans

Executive Order 9066Original monologues and short performance pieces are being sought by the Japanese American National Museum in Little Tokyo to include in its February Day of Remembrance.

The Rafu Shimpo reports the pieces should reflect how Executive Order 9066 impacted you or your family.

Works submitted can be both fiction and non-fiction and can range from the dramatic to the comedic.

Winners will get the opportunity to present their pieces and will be awarded a small honorarium.

Entries must be emailed to [email protected] as file attachments Include your name, your generation (if applicable), and a telephone number where you can be reached. There is no fee to enter. You will receive an emailed confirmation of your submission.
