It started out as a pointed wise crack from a comedian.
But turns out, there’s actually some truth to it.

A closer look by Buzz Feed shows there’s some truth to that when it comes to Asian American and Latino men.
According to Buzz Feed, robots and all the mythical creatures on television make up 1.9 percent of all characters.
That equals the total percentage of Asian and Latino men on television combined.
Ouch, not a very good reflection on diversity in television.
