Vandals have defaced a Gap ad featuring a Sikh model with racist graffiti, reports the Vancouver Desi.
The ad was part of a series featuring multicultural models as part of the company’s “make love” campaign for the holidays.
Instead someone crossed off the word love on a billboard in the New York subway system and replaced it with “make bombs.”
Gap promptly responded by changing its Twitter photo to feature the Sikh model.
Arsalan Iftikhar, founder of the Muslim Guy called it “the perfect response to all the haters out there.”
You can read more reaction to both the ad and the graffiti in the Vancouver Desi.
