A larger than life size painting originally titled Jesus and commissioned in 1935 has been found in the basement of a San Francisco Chinatown church, reports Mouse Planet.
The painting which portrays Jesus with various Asian features was done by Disney artist Tyrus Wong, a Chinese American artist and Disney legend who worked on such films as Bambi and on such classic Warner Bros films as Rebel Without a Cause and How the West was Won.
It will be put on display beginning Dec 21 at The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco as part of its exhibition Water to Paper, Paint to Sky: The Art of Tyrus Wong.
Wong is 103-years old.
The exhibition closes on February 3.
