Do it yourself plastic surgery is the new plastic surgery for those who can’t afford the real thing.

The Daily Beast reports it also has doctors worried about treating more cases of do it yourselfers inflicting harm on themselves in a failed attempt to improve their looks.
“These kinds of devices usually make claims that have no basis in studies or scientific fact,” a Long Island doctor told a beauty blog. ”At the very best, you end up completely wasting your money. At the very worst, you can injure yourself resulting in infections, permanent scars, or other irreversible facial deformities.”

Plastic surgery first became popular in Asia before the procedures became more acceptable among Asian Americans.
Hopefully the same thing doesn’t happen with DIY plastic surgery.
