Pacific Daily News: Charter school creates unique environment for Pacific Islander students

Pacific American Academy Charter SchoolA charter school in San Diego is fostering pride and understanding of the Pacific Islander culture, reports the Pacific Daily News.

The Pacific American Academy, or PA’A is a free public charter school for grades k-6.

Class sizes are limited to about 20 students and has been open since 2010.

Plans are in the works to add a middle school next year.
