Filipino American Apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas will join San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee this Friday to rise up against violence against women.
The event in San Francisco is part of the One Billion Rising for Justice campaign taking place in 184 countries on Valentines Day.
Participants in San Francisco will dance from the Golden Gate Bridge all the way to City Hall.
Some of the participants include San Francisco Board of Supervisors President David Chiu, Filipina Women’s Network CEO Marily Mondejar, and the Ruth Asawa SF School of the Arts Taiko Drummers.
The event in San Francisco starts at 4 pm at San Francisco City Hall.
