Critics are lashing out at a move in Georgia to make English the official language and ban bilingual tests for driver’s licenses, reports WSB-TV(Photo by DoNotLick).
“All official documents would be in English as well as they should be,” State Sen. Don Balfour (R-Snellville) said.
The Asian American Legal Advocacy Center is among those fighting Balfour on the issue.
“This is the kind of thing that would impact every single Georgian. It violates law and it’s completely unnecessary,” said Helen Ho of the Advocacy Center.
