A video by Katy Perry considered blasphemous by some in the Muslim community has been re-edited, reports the Daily News.
The original Dark Horse video showed Perry’s adversary wearing a pendant with the word Allah on it.
That pendant has now been removed in the edited version.
60,000 people signed a petition on change.org demanding that You Tube remove the video. They were upset that Perry, in her role as an Egyptian queen, turns the man wearing the Allah pendant into dust.
“Guys I’m thrilled to let you all know the name of Allah has been removed from the ‘Dark Horse’ video,” Shazad Iqbal, the person who launched the petition, wrote.
