News Channel Daily: Jesse Jackson’s help welcomed by family of North Korean prisoner Kenneth Bae

Kenneth BaeBoth the family of Kenneth Bae and the US State Department says it would welcome Jesse Jackson’s help in freeing North Korean prisoner Kenneth Bae.

News Channel Daily reports Jackson has expressed interest in traveling to Pyongyang on a rescue mission.

“Regardless of the outcome, we are deeply grateful to Rev. Jackson for his proactive pursuits of Kenneth’s freedom” said Bae’s sister Terri Chung.

Bae has been imprisoned longer in North Korea than any other American. He was arrested while leading a tour group there and accused of crimes against the state.

You can follow efforts to free the Korean American from Washington state on the family’s website.

There you can also sign a petition and send Kenneth a message to let him know that he has not been forgotten.
