A memorial wall honoring seven fallen South Vietnamese soldiers was unveiled in San Jose, CA at History Park, reports the Mercury News.
The seven are meant to represent the millions of citizens of what used to be South Vietnam before it fell to Hanoi.
Lam Son Artistic and Cultural Special Group raised the money for the wall and got special approval from the city to place it on public land.
One of the seven honored on the wall was executed by the North Vietnamese. The other six chose to commit suicide rather than be captured.
