With just 12 percent of the precincts reporting, seven time incumbent Mike Honda is off to an early lead over well funded challenger Ro Khanna in the race for the Congressional seat in Silicon Valley.
According to the Secretary of State, Honda has more than 50 percent of the vote Khanna just 25 percent.
Republican Vanila Singh has almost 16 percent and Joel VanLandingham eight percent.
The top two vote getters, regardless of party, advance to the general election under California’s open primary system.
