The grads dawned caps with red tape on it to show their support for the victims.
“Respect for a women’s dignity is respect for humanity. And that respect starts at home, spreads through communities, extends across university campuses to nations around the world, said Arnab De, one of the graduates from Columbia “An assault on one woman is an attack on the entire human race.”
The idea started from one student at Columbia, Rakhi Agrawal, and quickly spread to Brown and Harvard
Many joined together to stage a protest against the rise of sexual assault violence in India.
