A new anthology entitled Beyond Lumpia, Pansit and Seven Manangs Wild: Stories from the Heart of Filipino Americans will be released today by the East Bay Chapter of the Filipino National Historical Society, reports the Inquirer.
The anthology will include stories from second, third and fourth generation Filipino Americans and how they relate to their Filipino American heritage.
Several of the stories evolve around food and family. Others talk about their strong identification to their American side while other stories focus on their connections to the Philippines.
