Inquistr: Contract dispute could spell end of Big Bang Theory

Kunal NayyarKunal Nayyar and much of the cast of the Big Bang Theory have yet to sign their contracts for the new season, putting the start of its eighth season in jeopardy, reports the Inquisitr.

Production for the new season is supposed to start on July 30.  CBS this past spring renewed the show for three more seasons, contingent on the current cast returning.

Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, the three main actors on the show, are reportedly asking for $1 million an episode. No word on what Nayyar and Simon Helberg want.

Any delay in production will allow Nayyar more time to write his book which is due out next year.
