The 41st annual Nihonmachi Street Fair will take place this weekend in San Francisco’s Japantown, reports Rafu Shimpo.
This year’s festivities will include the usual assortment of food, artisans, doggie world, kid’s area, live bands, and other entertainment. New this year are a basketball tournament and car show.
The festival is the oldest street fair in the city of San Francisco and retains its original mission of providing leadership and mentorship opportunities for the youth of J-Town and to honor the Japanese American cultural heritage.
