The new Laker back court combination of Kobe Bryant and Jeremy Lin now has something else in common besides their team jerseys.
The pair both have statues of themselves in Asia, reports Ball is Life.
A statue of Lin was unveiled at the Conscious 3 Basketball Art Exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan. The exact dimensions have not been reported, but it appears much smaller than Kobe’s statue.
The Black Mamba is on display outside the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in China. It measures just less than 27 x 20 x 20 inches.
Kobe is hugely popular in China as he is elsewhere in the world. Now teamed up with Jeremy, you can expect both stars to rise in popularity in the most populous country of the world.
