Frank Islam’s home is a tribute to his adopted country.
The Indian American has a replica in his home of the iconic Resolute desk, reports NDTV. The original was originally put in the White House Oval Office by President John F Kennedy and is still used by President Obama today.
The ten acre property on the Potomac also features a domed ceiling inspired by the Capitol Rotunda and handpainted murals of the Maryland landscape.
Islam’s home also has a garden similar to the White House Rose Garden.
The home has been visited by journalists and dignitaries. Vice President Joe Biden recently attended a fundraiser at the house. President Obama called Islam just to talk to him about his mansion.
