Brigadier General John Cho who oversees medical care for the US Army in 20 western states has been suspended, reports the News Tribune.
The suspension follows an inquiry by the Army inspector general surrounding “the command climate of the organization.” No other details were released other than the suspension had nothing to do with patient care or safety.
Maj. Gen. Thomas Tempel Jr., chief of the Army dental corps, will take over for Cho at the Western Regional Medical Command.
Cho was considered a rising star in the Army, but this is sure to set back his career in the military. You can read more about that in the News Tribune.
