A new Vietnamese restaurant in Dallas features a five-pointed red star logo that reminds many of the symbol of communism, reports Culture Map.
The Banh Shop is located right across from Southern Methodist University and is owned by Yum! the parent company of Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut, according to the OC Weekly.
“The red star in the logo is offensive to the thousands of Vietnamese Americans who have suffered from the Vietnamese Communist regime,” says Nikki Duong Koenig.
Some quickly took to Twitter to voice their displeasure starting the hashtag #banhshoplogochange.

“Next year is the 40th anniversary of the fall of Saigon, it’s a huge deal,” Koenig says. “Why are we still talking about it? Because that’s so much a part of our history. Can you forget the Holocaust?”
