SF Gate reports a poll taken by the GOP showed the Vietnamese American community supported California State Senator-elect Janet Nguyen by 100 percent.

Governor Jerry Brown endorsed Nguyen’s opponent, Democrat Jose Solorio. Nguyen quickly turned the endorsement against Solorio, resurrecting comments made by the Governor in the 1970s. Janet Nguyen

A mailer from Nguyen targeting Vietnamese American voters said Brown “opposed the U.S. government putting the Vietnamese refugees in the state of California in the 1970s.”
