KHON: Feds Conduct Gambling Raid in Honolulu’s Chinatown

gambling raidOfficers from the Department of Homeland Security and the Honolulu Police Department raided a property on the Fort Street Mall in Honolulu, reports KHON.

Three people were arrested for money laundering and illegal gambling and officers seized a large amount of cash.

Sources say the gambling hall was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and that patrons were allowed in by invitation only.

A high rise was also raided and its believed to be somehow connected to the raid in Chinatown.
